Daniel Hannan Discusses Free Trade and Brexit

Last week in London, we welcomed former Member of the European Parliament (MEP) Daniel Hannan for a "Free Trade in the Age of Brexit" discussion and reception.

Hannan recently wrote an article in The Telegraph that discussed Adam Smith's philosophical writings on selfishness and virtue. He explored Jesse Norman's book on Adam Smith to argue that Smith believed that principled capitalism channeled human energies into improving the quality of life for the ordinary person.
