Duke Fuqua Chapter Hosts Policy Debate
November 02, 2016On November 1, the Smith Soc Chapter at Duke University Fuqua School of Business staged a debate on multiple economic and political policy issues. The chapter tapped two on-campus experts, Dr. Adriano Rampini, a Professor of Finance and Economics, and Dr. Aaron Chatterji, an Associate Professor of Strategy. The two faculty members discussed a number of issues: the use of monetary and fiscal policy following the 2008 Financial Crisis; the growing gap in incomes in the United States; the effects of regulation; and the challenges confronting the next President. The event was well-attended, with a capacity crowd that was enthusiastic.
