On April 1, a group of Olin School MBA students, including the Olin Smith Soc Chapter, helped launch the school's first annual Impact Investing Symposium.
An event open to the public, the symposium was intended to bring impact investing to a more prominent position at Washington University and the greater St. Louis community. The event included a keynote address by Gloria Nelund, founder and CEO of TriLinc Global Impact Fund, and former CEO of the U.S. Private Wealth Management division at Deutsche Bank. The centerpiece of the symposium was a panel featured impact investing experts, including Manhattan Institute's Howard Husock.The event was well-attended and very well-received in the Olin School community.
