“Rapid Response: Tailoring Policy and Targeting Innovation in the Post-Virus World”
Dr. Simon Johnson and his colleague Dr. Retsef Levi convened the COVID-19 Policy Alliance on March 11 2020. The Alliance aims to rapidly develop, vet, and deliver policy proposals for use by state and federal government in the United States to combat the spread and severity of COVID-19. Dr. Johnson gave members a policy brief, elaborating on measures to be implemented across the country. Dr. Johnson is the MIT Ronald A. Kurtz Professor of Entrepreneurship and former chief economist at the International Monetary Fund.
