Last week, over 50 Smith Soc members from across the country met with authors Ran Abramitzky and Leah Boustan for a virtual discussion about their new book, Streets of Gold.
During the hour-long discussion, the authors fielded audience questions and didn't shy away from hard-hitting notes: Is America still the land of opportunity? Does immigrant success come at the expense of the native-born? Our CU Boulder Leeds chapter hosted a watch party on campus, joining students and alumni from around the country for the discussion.
