MIT Sloan Welcomes Yuval Levin for Health Care Discussion
March 17, 2017The Smith Soc chapter at the MIT Sloan School of Management hosted noted conservative intellectual and policy expert Yuval Levin on Thursday, March 16, for a wide-ranging discussion centering on health care reform.
Levin, who is the editor of the quarterly journal National Affairs, and the Hertog Fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center, led a talk entitled, "The Peril and Promise of Conservative Health Care Reform". At what many see a crucial moment for the prospects of the American Health Care Act specifically and Republican plans for health care reform more generally, Levin sought to get members up to speed on where things stand among Republicans in Washington regarding the repeal and replacement of Obamacare, and what the prospects for this project realistically are.
