
On Tuesday, April 25th, Smith Soc's Wharton School chapter commemorated Tax Freedom Day with an event centered around taxation and tax policy. Jennifer Blouin, Associate Professor of Accounting at the Wharton School, gave the talk, entitled, "The Most Interesting Conversation on TAXES: Paying Your Fair Share, Corporate Inversions, and the Border Tax." Professor Blouin teaches a popular class at Wharton called Taxes and Business Strategy, and is one of the highest student-rated professors at Wharton. Her popularity was evident as the lecture hall holding her talk was filled to capacity. The chapter leadership reported that Professor Blouin was informative and entertaining.
