Please join us for the Adam Smith Society's 2020 National Meeting. Important information regarding registration and travel/lodging reimbursement for current student national members and professional members follows below. Please read carefully before registering.

REGISTRATION
Please note that the number of participants is limited and registrations are taken on a first-come, first served-basis. While we would like to include all Adam Smith Society members, we are focused on providing an intimate environment where MBA students and professional members will have opportunities to network with speakers, VIPS and other attendees. To ensure your space, please register. After you register, a member of the Smith Soc team will reach out to confirm your spot.
Please note that you must be logged into your Adam Smith Society account to register for the 2020 National Meeting, which you can do on our membership portal. Only paid national members in good standing will be admitted to the National Meeting. To pay your membership dues, please click here. LODGING
A block of rooms has been reserved at the InterContinental New York Barclay, where the conference will be held. Complimentary shared lodging is available for all out-of-town student national members for both Friday and Saturday nights. Please indicate whether you will require a hotel room and any roommate preferences you may have when registering. If you request to share a room with another attendee, please ensure that both of you have indicated your roommate preference on your registration. (Note: Rooms are double-occupancy, and you will be assigned a roommate unless you make other arrangements, per the below.) Complimentary hotel rooms cannot be guaranteed after 3/1/2020.

Please note that your room confirmation will be provided separately, and at a later date. Upon check-in, you will be required to provide a credit card for security and incidentals; however the Adam Smith Society will cover the room charges and all applicable taxes directly.
We do not provide complimentary single rooms for student members. However, we do have a block of single rooms at a reduced rate available for professional members and student members who would prefer a single room. For more information on single rooms, please email adamsmith@manhattan-institute.org.
TRAVEL REIMBURSEMENTS
All paid student and professional members are eligible for a 60% travel scholarship to cover coach class transportation expenses (air, car, train, bus) and transportation to/from the airport/train station until December 31, 2019 with 40% applying to students and 0% to professionals after December 31, 2019. You are required to book your own travel - funds are provided on a reimbursement basis, and will be processed following the event. More information on how to submit for your travel scholarship will be provided following attendance at the National Meeting. We do not reimburse for the cost of food, seat upgrades, checked baggage, or travel that was booked less than a week in advance. We cannot provide any travel scholarships for professional members after December 31, 2019.
SPOUSES & SIGNIFICANT OTHERS
We welcome members' spouses and significant others to join us at the closing cocktail party on Saturday, April 4. If your spouse/significant other will be joining us, please email adamsmith@manhattan-institute.org with their full name and any food allergies or dietary restrictions. Unfortunately, we cannot cover any travel expenses for spouses/significant others and are unable to accommodate spouses/significant others during the rest of the conference sessions.
If you are planning to bring your spouse/significant other, you must book your hotel room directly with the hotel. Please note that you will be required to pay the full amount of the hotel room. Following the conference, you may submit for reimbursement for half of the cost of a standard hotel room. For more information, please email adamsmith@manhattan-institute.org.
