Christopher Covo
After completing the University College London program in the fall of 2012, Chris accepted a fellowship at the global communication and crisis management firm Hill + Knowlton Strategies in Austin, TX where he reported to the president of the US region, Dan Bartlett, former senior adviser to President George Bush. Following the fellowship, he accepted the role of Legislative Director for Rep. Jodie Laubenberg for the Texas legislative session, which only convenes every other year at the Texas capitol. The 83rd session recently ended and Chris is pleased to announce the launch of Edible San Antonio Magazine in October 2013, a bimonthly publication that he co-founded with his family. Chris serves as the Director of Business Development and Partnerships.
Mark Pulliam
Mark Pulliam is a lawyer and writer living in Austin, Texas. A graduate of the University of Texas School of Law, Mark practiced law in California for 30 years with a large law firm, where he was recognized as one of the Best Lawyers in America. Mark now writes, mainly on legal topics, for a variety of publications. His work has appeared in the Wall Street Journal, the Los Angeles Times, National Review, City Journal, American Greatness, The American Spectator, the Federalist, The American Thinker, and many other publications. He is a contributing editor to Law and Liberty.
