Sir Mervyn King joined the Smith Soc chapter at NYU Stern on December 14 for a lunchtime discussion. Lord King served as Governor of the Bank of England and Chairman of its Monetary Policy Committee from 2003 to 2013. He is currently the Alan Greenspan Professor of Economics and a Professor of Economics and Law at NYU. He discussed the outlook on the current economic climate and forecast prior to the upcoming Federal Reserve meeting.
