Washington University’s Olin Business School presented an Impact Investing Symposium on Friday, April 1 from 9:00 am – Noon at the Charles F. Knight Center.
The gathering of invited students, faculty, investment experts, philanthropists, and leadership from for- and nonprofit businesses and organizations is designed to bring the subjects of impact investing and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance criteria) to a more prominent position at Washington University and the greater Saint Louis community. A free event, open to the public – speakers from around the nation, opportunities to question, probe, and inform oneself of the nascent impact investing field.
Organized by MBA sutdents, Smith Soc and NetImpact served as sponsors.
The Keynote speaker, Gloria Nelund, CEO of TriLinc Global, will take the stage at 9:00 am.
A panel moderated by Martin Myers of pePartners and breakout sessions with the panelists followed, and included Howard Husock of the Manhattan Institute.
Light lunch and networking closed the event activities.
