Please join the Adam Smith Society’s Austin Professional Chapter on Thursday, May 5th for a salon dinner and discussion about Austin's upcoming Prop 1, which will be up for a vote on May 7th, as well as the more general issue of the tension between innovation and regulation, on both the local and national levels.

There will be a variety of political and economic viewpoints around the table, and the goal for this dinner is to engage in an intellectual discussion that will explore the sharing economy, specifically as it relates to safety and freedom in society and how much freedom and choice we are willing to sacrifice. 

A reception will begin at 6:30 PM; The evening will end by 9:30 PM.
