The New York City professional chapter hosted a summer reception featuring a talk by Douglas Schoen. He was a founding partner and strategist for Penn, Schoen & Berland. He was named Pollster of the Year in 1996 by the American Association of Political Consultants. He was the author of Hopelessly Divided: The New Crisis in American Politics and What it Means for 2012 and Beyond.
