Join Us for the Launch of Our Boston Professional Chapter
Please join us as the Adam Smith Society launches its Boston Professional Chapter with a private salon dinner with Global Economist Dambisa Moyo.
Dambisa Moyo is a New York Times best-selling author, a contributing editor to CNBC, a TEDTalks speaker, and serves on the board of directors of Barclays Bank, SABMiller, Barrick Gold, and Seagate Technology. In 2009, she was named to TIME's "100 Most Influential People in the World" list. Dr. Moyo holds a BA in chemistry and an MBA in finance from American University, an MPA from Harvard University, and a PhD in economics from Oxford University.
Dr. Moyo will discuss the challenges of achieving sustainable, long-term economic growth, which is key to solving the majority of public policy challenges facing the U.S. and the world, including healthcare, education, and national security. She argues that opening markets and reigniting global economic growth is a generational challenge as important as terrorism, disease, refugees, and the environment.
