The Adam Smith Society’s Houston Professional chapter invites you to join a private salon dinner and discussion on Thursday, November 18th at Vic & Anthony’s steakhouse.

Our special guest for the evening will be energy expert Mark Mills, who will be joining us to discuss his recent report, SHALE 2.0: Technology and the Coming Big-Data Revolution in America’s Shale Oil Fields.

In his report, Mark argues that, despite the warnings of many experts that we have reached the end of America’s shale boom, continued technological progress—particularly in big-data analytics—has the U.S. shale industry poised for another, longer boom, or a “Shale 2.0.”

We hope you will join us for what promises to be a lively and insightful discussion about the future of this important sector.

This invitation is non-transferrable and does not include a plus one. Please RSVP by Friday, November 13. Space is limited and seats will be allotted first come, first-served.
