Host San Francisco Professional

Is growth in the area of collaborative consumption — otherwise known as the sharing economy — beginning to slow down, or are there still new frontiers to explore?

The Adam Smith Society’s San Francisco Professional Chapter invites you to join Jonathan Swanson (founder of Thumbtack) and Nate Morris (founder of Rubicon Global), for a private salon dinner on Tuesday, December 6th where they will share their successes and best practices as founders, and address what future challenges will face startups as they enter the peer-to-peer commerce arena.

Jonathan Swanson

A Yale University graduate and former White House intern, Jonathan Swanson served as the Deputy Associate Director of the National Economic Council at the White House and worked in the West Wing from 2006 though 2009. He then co-founded Thumbtack, and has been President of that company for eight years.

Nate Morris

A native Kentuckian who was named to Fortune Magazine's "40 Under 40" in 2014, Nate Morris is the founder of Rubicon Global, a company using sharing economy technology to transform waste management and also improve the lives and environment of rural Americans in the heartland.
