Leadership Retreat

To connect our Adam Smith Society chapter leaders with each other, National Office Staff, and prominent guests, we host a Leadership Retreat every summer. We organize a program that instructs new chapter leaders on the procedures and best practices for running a chapter and also gives exposure to select thought leaders from the Adam Smith Speakers Bureau and the Manhattan Institute.

Intellectual Treks

Providing deeper connections between young business leaders and experienced, free market-minded experts from the worlds of business, academics, and policy is an important part of our mission. Each year the Adam Smith Society hosts an Intellectual Trek Series featuring destination-based, weekend-long conferences. Each weekend will focus on either the history & philosophy of capitalism, or a specific public policy issue and its intersection with business. Modeled after Liberty Fund seminars, these treks consist of small discussions over the course of two days led by various scholars and thought leaders.
